Until recently the prices were sung out until they were interrupted by the call of a buyer. Now the auction is mechanised. Visitors can enjoy the spectacle from a corridor on the first floor that surrounds the fish conveyor belt and from where the buyers\u2019 stands can be seen.<\/p>\n
The boats begin to return to port from about 3 pm Monday to Friday and the best time to see the market in action is around 4.30 pm<\/p>\n
